"The New York Red Bulls take 50% off select 2011 Single Match Tickets via coupon code "RBNYSOCCER". That's the first such offer we've ever seen for this soccer club, with prices starting at $12.50 per ticket after discount. All eligible games will take place in the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ."

that's the one, I checked yesterday and it was still working.
I have bought a few games already with that code. But that was before the end of may.
I can work from home on Friday, that way i can drive to the game; makes a Friday game a little easier.

It looks like I am cut loose from the woman that night. If a group of you guys are going, I will join and meet. Otherwise I'll be a total loser going to a red bull game all by myself.
Let me know if people are in

For $12.50, I'm in. My wife wanted to come, but if it's just the guys, I'm sure she won't mind finding something else to do, in the city or something.

HA..you don't have to leave her out. My girlfriend loves red bulls games, she just made plans with my sister so is busy. otherwise you better believe she would come.
I might be bringing her cousin though who loves soccer. I work in woodbridge but have to go south to Wall to pick him up, and then head back north to down neck.
Getting excited for that smell in the air in the Ironbound on a summer's night...some cross between churrasco and diesel that just gets my juices flowing.

cool, what do you guys think parking will be like?
I usually park next to River Bank Park. But considering the fesitval is going on, I am worried that I won't find parking.

I don't remember but its top level, towards the middle. regardless we are going to not sit in our assigned seats anyway. i just bought the cheapest tickets possible.
I completely forgot about the festival! ahh...thats going to make getting in and out and parking very shitty....I typically park in the ironbound and walk over the bridge, because trying to get out of harrison after the game when all those roads are closed or under construction is an effing nightmare. I made that mistake once and I am not doing it again. that area was not designed for high traffic loads. ironbound is much much easier to get out of.

That's why I'm going to load up on some sangria before I walk over that bridge. iberia charges 5 bucks to park there and then reimburses you if you spend money there.
Forecast is not looking great. Hopefully it holds out . Anyone else going ?

Hopefully it holds out . Anyone else going ? Iberia is going to be packed for Portugal day. They'll be having concerts, etc there and there will be no parking there. This year the festival will be at independence park, so Ferry St won't be closed but at Iberia they'll still be having events. They were pretty packed already last night. PS-remember to take pictures!
