Take it back. It's a very expensive device - the least you can expect is that it work as it was intended.

That is the exact problem! It won't focus... People keep blaming me until they try to take a picture themselves...if I use Jacob's it'll take a totally different picture... Take it back. Unless you are using the zoom to the max, the pics should be very clear. The more you zoom the more you lose focus, though.

agreed; go to apple, not AT&T.
Also, make sure they give you a NEW one and not: 1. Try to fix it 2. Try to give you a repaired one

I had to take mine to teh Apple store because teh home screen was starting to shift and every so often it would start blinking and flashing. They swapped it for a new one.

Apple was not able to fix the problem, so I ended up getting a new phone. Bad news was that I had to download all my crap again, since the restore did not work OK...but at least it was easy enough and once I re-downloaded again, it recognized my accounts, etc. Good news is it takes beautiful pictures now: Attachments:

Good Stuff! 4.2 is out today... ;D that's Multi-tasking and printing for the iPad, finally! How you like the Ipad? I'm not ready to plunk down when I know 99% of my use would be Angry Birds. It's great, defintely a couch companion. also use it at work to remote into my home computer. Multi-Tasking is great, but not all the apps are ready for it. Folders is the best part of the release. Printing isn't 100% ready, only works with like 7 HP printers. They didn't get the print sharing working 100% so they pulled it at the last minute. The next gen iPad (which should include a built in camera) will probably be my parent's first computer. We will be able to facetime to talk and I can easily flip the language to Portuguese. Plus it's so simple to use. If they ever get stuck, they can just press the Home button and their are back at square one. My dad never got the hang of a mouse... when he would try to use my computer, as he would try to click, the mouse would move and he wouldn't click on what he wanted.

Wow! If that isn't mini Jacob... spitting image! If I had a dollar for every time someone tells me that, and another dollar for every time I try to convince people that he looks like me too – I’d be a millionaire. But really – he looks like me too. Just look at his eyebrows… ;D

I hate the Canadian Telecoms (both of 'em) with a passion. When I moved into my own place, I stopped using their t.v. and internet service. As a result, my t.v. programming was reduced to what I could get on an H.D. antenna and the rest I watched on the computer.
Now with this new ipad and more importantly the latest version of an App called Air Video, I can watch whatever the hell I want, and it works beautifully. Air Video streams any video file -converting it as it plays - via Air play to Apple T.V. second gen. For football games or I use the a.v. adapter and an hdmi cable to mirror the game to the t.v.
Gotta say, I'm lovin this thing.
tip...Real Racing hd is great fun on a big screen.

Sweet; I have the same set up in my bedroom; iPhone 4 + apple tv 2nd gen BUT at my parents; they are set up with iPad 2 and the HDMI cable which actually mirrors the screen. This is sweet for the apps that haven't incorporated AirPlay yet.

Yeah, the big dogs are making a push. Portland has an alternative "high speed" ISP with Fairpoint (They bought VZW phone lines in northern New England), but it's DSL or Fiber Optic. The Fiber is like 80-100 per month and doesn't sound as good as FIOS.
Will be interesting if they go all in this model how this effects the move from physical media to direct delivery streaming. Every new form of media is going that way, I have dropped buying the cable company's MLB PPV to streaming MLB.TV through my PS3 (It's cheaper, offers a better picture, and more in game features). Sony, Apple, and Microsoft are just a few companies who have made big commitments to setting up media structures under the guise that there is unlimited downloading for the user.
I have no faith in people shifting away from the big providers just because of caps.
