You could have fed that hawk you deprived of a squirrel way back when you attacked it with a broom. I think you owe it a nice cooked meal.

And, for Boyo, a brand new sign and lots of P.O.V. Now we need to make room for that Festivus pole. It's perfect! The Festivus pole is going up soon and I still have lots of Festivus lore to tell.

I just learned today that Chris Rock agreed to bring his family along on our Easter Disney Cruise with the Pila family in April. That's great! With the two of you together it's gonna be a freestyle floating stand-up comedy cruise. ;D

OMG, the Metrodome has collapsed! That can't happen in Chicago. .... we don't have a dome. Todays game is going to be interesting.

it's not snowing hard, but the wind is very strong and there is alot of blowing and drifting, making football and driving very difficult.

I just tuned in for the final moments of the game and saw the goal. So typical Juve to snatch the winning goal in the last minute of the game. But hey, at least it wasn't a penalty.

it's not snowing hard, but the wind is very strong and there is alot of blowing and drifting, making football and driving very difficult. We're in between two snow fronts at the moment. It had been snowing for the past two weeks, last week quite heavily. Since Friday it's been gone, but a new front is going to hit us later in the week. Apparently some government agencies have nearly run out of salt and are rationing it. How the heck can they run out of salt when two thirds of the country borders on the sea? Just scoop up some water, vaporize it and presto... salt.

I don't think it quite works that easily.

Well, otherwise they could just use sand. I mean, anything to give us some more grip. We got lots of sand here too. Holland in fact has the biggest small desert in Europe.

have you tried cat litter? I find that works better than sand! There must be some Dutch cats that would lend you some litter.

Good idea. I guess used cat litter would be even better than fresh cat litter, because of the ammonia that's contained within it.
I've also been thinking about mounting a flamethrower on my car and using that to melt the snow and ice. And it could also come in handy when someone cuts me off.
